The role requires 5–10 years of electrical estimating experience, proficiency with McCormick estimating software (or similar), and strong skills in Bluebeam, Word, and Excel, plus NEC/NFPA knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 5–10 years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience with McCormick estimating software (or similar).
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of electrical installations.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide profitable backlog by ensuring bid selection criteria are met and conduct thorough takeoffs and scope reviews.
• Determine true cost using direct and indirect project cost protocols.
• Maintain a minimum of 6 months backlog for each branch at current burn rate.
• Coordinate estimating activities with BIM and preconstruction to define complete scopes.
• Formulate and present training plans and establish estimating budgets for each bid.
• Review and revise assemblies and templates to maximize estimator productivity.
