Job summary

Responsibilities include cost validation, bid review for accuracy, and risk analysis with cross-functional teams in a hybrid setting. Strong electrical estimating background and Excel proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 8+ years estimating electrical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus 6+ years estimating electrical systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop ROM, budgetary, and unit pricing estimates.
• Assist in reviewing design documents and scope packages for accuracy.
• Validate quantities and estimates from contractors/engineers.
• Review bids for scope accuracy and cost optimization.
• Create cost load schedules by WBS and support project plans.
• Conduct cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering.
