The ideal candidate will have at least four years in electrical estimating, strong takeoff skills, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4+ years in electrical estimating.
• Experience reading drawings and specifications for estimates.
• Proficiency with estimating software and bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and bid contents.
• Prepare estimates with complete takeoffs and enter estimating system.
• Request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify qualified vendors and solicit bids; review quotes against plans.
• Itemize incidentals for bid packages and provide detailed scope for estimates.
• Explain estimate scope, requirements, and pricing to project management.
