Qualifications

• Experience in electrical estimating and takeoffs.
• Ability to review drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with Accubid or CAD software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope and estimate contents.
• Prepare estimates by full takeoff and enter into estimating system; verify reports.
• Request quotes from suppliers and subs for materials and equipment.
• Identify qualified suppliers and solicit quotes; review quotes for completeness.
• Itemize and quantify all incidentals for bid packages including subcontract work, rentals, tools and suppliers.
• Provide detailed scope, technical requirements and pricing review before bid packages are issued.
• Complete client-required documents on time and accurately.
• Explain estimate details to project management for transition after a bid.
