Qualifications

• 10 years of related estimating experience.
• 3+ years in supervision or management.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimating functions for region, budgets, staffing and work assignments.
• Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Assist project managers in negotiating purchase orders, subcontracts and change orders during procurement.
• Supervise preparation of market cost studies, materials/methods and recommend changes to the database.
• Review project details with region leadership to determine strategies and resources.
• Coordinate with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability in proposals.
• Ensure standardized use of estimating systems and maintenance of the cost database.
• Maintain historical data for estimating man-hours, bid results by project.
• Review final estimate and proposal packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
• Perform additional duties as required.
