Qualifications

• Knowledge of how corporate objectives impact estimating, estimating strategies and techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
• Reads and comprehends drawings and specifications; identifies missing elements during design development.
• Able to perform conceptual estimates in multiple trades and review estimates in many trades.
• Strong ability to estimate many types of projects/contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manages and administers the estimating functions in the assigned region, area or group.
• Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Assists region leadership by reviewing project details and providing recommendations.
• Provides coordination with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability for proposals.
• Ensures standardized use of approved estimating systems and maintains the cost database.
