CDM Smith is seeking a senior estimating professional to manage and administer estimating functions across regions, including budgets, staffing, and work assignments. You will coordinate with project managers on procurement and change orders, ensuring cost effectiveness and accurate proposals.

The role requires experience with established estimating policies, cost databases, and the ability to review and refine bid packages. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 10 years related experience with at least 3 in supervision.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Manages and administers the estimating functions in assigned region, area or group to include operating budgets, staffing assignments, and work assignments.
• Implements established estimating policies to meet corporate objectives.
• Reviews final estimate and proposal packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Contacts subcontractors and suppliers for outsource pricing.
• Provides oversight with design leads for cost effectiveness and constructability for proposals.
