Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineering Technician to design, prototype, build, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical systems for lab testing. You will support design engineers with concept and prototype assemblies bridging to finished medical device systems.

Typical duties include crafting test procedures, performing complex tasks, and maintaining lab equipment per preventive maintenance schedules. Medical device experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degrees preferred.
• Experience with medical device development or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Proven ability to document engineering specifications and conventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with R&D and Verification & Validation builds requiring sound judgment.
• Assemble components to specifications using hand tools, micro-tools, and measuring equipment.
• Generate and perform detailed electrical test procedures; document results.
• Determine root cause using data analysis and other tools.
• Support engineering product development and lab equipment maintenance.
