Job summary

Arthrex is seeking a skilled Technician I in Santa Barbara, CA to build high-quality medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will assemble electro-mechanical and video camera components and follow detailed work instructions, maintaining traceability and quality standards.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, experience in electro-mechanical assembly, and the ability to work across multiple production lines while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience required.
• Medical device industry experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, one-piece flow manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures electro-mechanical and video camera medical products to specified work orders. Follows work instructions and SOPs. Inspects own work and the work of others.
• Performs daily cleaning of the work area and initiates Area Clearance to maintain material traceability.
• Installs circuit boards, electronic components, cables, wire harnesses, optics cleaning, mounting, and assembling components using mechanical fasteners and adhesives.
• Makes decisions in fitting and adjusting parts within guidelines to meet specs.
• Verifies correct material per Work Order and Device History Records; ensures forms are completed per GDP.
