Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking a Sr. Electronics Engineering Technician to support new product design through test development, data analysis, and benchmarking.

You will independently plan and create test fixtures, configure products for testing, log measurements, and troubleshoot circuit board assemblies focusing on chargers and live batteries. You will assist in maintaining lab equipment and procedures, and serve as a resource for entry-level technicians while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering technology or 4+ years of hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical test methods and products.
• Ability to lift and manipulate 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel between lab locations.
• Experience with lithium-ion charging systems desired.

Responsibilities

• Test chargers and batteries per best practices for Li-ion charging systems.
• Perform hands-on mechanical testing of batteries and tools.
• Collect data using various equipment and software.
• Prepare reports and provide updates to Engineers.
