Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Electronics Engineering Technician to support new product design through test development, data analysis, and benchmarking. You will design test fixtures, configure devices for testing, log data, and troubleshoot circuit boards focusing on chargers and live batteries.

You will maintain lab equipment and SOPs, and assist entry-level technicians, while collaborating with engineers across projects to drive breakthroughs in power electronics and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in engineering technology or high school diploma with 4+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical principles, test equipment, product life/performance test procedures and methods.
• Capability to lift and manipulate 50lbs.

Responsabilités

• Test chargers and batteries in methods that are consistent with best practices for lithium-ion charging systems.
• Perform hands on mechanical testing of batteries and tools.
• Collect data through various equipment and software programs.
• Perform tests per work instructions and other procedures.
• Prepare reports of test results and make recommendations as needed.
• Provide updates to Engineers on projects.
• Create and edit documents using the Microsoft software suite.
• Move between lab spaces to execute and monitor testing.
