Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Electronics Engineering Technician to support new product design teams through test development, data analysis, and benchmarking. You will plan test fixtures, configure units for testing, log measurements, and troubleshoot circuit board assemblies focusing on chargers and live batteries.

You’ll maintain lab equipment and procedures, assist entry-level technicians, and collaborate with Engineers to drive design validation and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical/electrical principles and test equipment.
• Knowledge of test concepts in product/component development.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel between lab locations as needed.
• Experience with data acquisition and lab instruments.
• Familiarity with PCB layouts/schematics (Altium).
• Experience using hand and shop tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Test chargers and batteries per established procedures and best practices for Li‑ion systems.
• Perform mechanical testing of batteries and tools.
• Collect and analyze data; generate test reports and recommendations.
• Create/modify lab documentation and procedures; support Engineers on projects.
• Maintain lab spaces, tools, and consumables; move between spaces to conduct tests.
