Job summary

GPTech is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Lead to support the U.S. Department of State OBO program worldwide.

The role requires senior technical leadership in planning, design, and modernization of electrical systems for diplomatic facilities and related infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee electrical power distribution, emergency power, lighting, and building electrical systems, while coordinating with architects and other disciplines to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
10+ years of progressively responsible electrical engineering experience in building systems and infrastructure modernization.
PE registration in the United States.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering assessments, planning, design, and technical evaluations for new construction, renovations, and upgrades.
Develop and review designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and construction documents throughout design development.
Coordinate with architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions.
Provide technical advisory during procurement and construction, review submittals and shop drawings.
Support field investigations, inspections, and closeout activities; ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.
