Support the development and evaluation of design alternatives, engineering recommendations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Provide technical consultation during procurement and construction, including review of contractor submittals, shop drawings, equipment selections, requests for information, and proposed design modifications.
Evaluate proposed equipment substitutions and technical changes for compliance with design intent, performance requirements, constructability, and lifecycle considerations.
Support field investigations, construction inspections, and technical assessments to verify electrical system installation and identify deviations from approved design documents.
Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during construction and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
