Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking a Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead design and execution of PV and BESS projects within the EPC team. You will supervise the electrical engineering group, guide technical development, and coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional electrical engineering experience in the Solar/BESS industry.
• At least 3 years of management experience leading a team.
• Experience with PV and energy storage project design and optimization.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and interconnection standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical teams through project design and engineering stages, including conceptual and Issued for Construction system design, observing codes and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver PV, BESS, and other renewable projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in electrical engineering.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain to select components and optimize BOS.
• Report progress to Vice President of Engineering and allocate resources across programs.
