Tallgrass seeks an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the electrical design for a major energy infrastructure megaproject in Houston. This role requires strategic thinking and deep expertise in power generation electrical systems.

You will guide design, reviews, and vendor coordination, manage budgets and schedules, ensure safety and quality, and mentor junior engineers across disciplines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Extensive experience designing and validating large scale facility electrical systems.
• Proficient in electrical codes, standards, and project documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical design from concept through design completion for megaprojects.
• Review equipment specifications, data sheets, RFQs, and bid analyses.
• Coordinate with vendors, other disciplines, and field teams for interfaces.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans; control changes.
• Apply NEC, ISA, IEC, API, IEEE knowledge to complex designs.
• Provide owners engineering support and vendor document review.
• Mentor engineers and ensure QA/QC adherence on projects.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders and maintain safety standards.
