Job summary

Innovate Consulting is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to design and implement electrical power systems across utility grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic scopes. You will lead cross-discipline teams, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and drive project success with a strong focus on quality and regulatory adherence.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, building client relations, and coordinating project close-out activities while ensuring compliance with industry codes

Qualifications

• AS or higher in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design and engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in leading junior engineers required.
• 5+ years of product knowledge of key electrical components of a Protection & Control Panel (SEL, Electroswitch, test switches) required.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required.
• Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required.
• Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required.
• Alignment with company core values required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineer efforts on assigned projects and coordinate engineering disciplines for cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure engineering work is on schedule, meets quality standards, and stays within budgets.
• Review schedule status and progress with Clients and inform General Managers of issues.
• Ensure quality of engineering execution and deliverables.
• Mentor team members and develop training material; conduct seminars.
