Jacobs is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive design and serve as the technical authority on complex water and wastewater projects from planning and design through construction, startup, and commissioning.

You will oversee technical deliverables and power system studies, guide multidisciplinary teams and clients, mentor staff, and support business development and project pursuits within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a PE license.
• CA licensure preferred or obtainable by comity.
• 20+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.

Job description

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a Professional Engineer license (California licensure preferred or obtainable by comity), and more than 20 years of progressive electrical engineering experience. Candidates need substantial water and wastewater facility design experience, expertise in power systems and utility coordination, experience with power system analysis software and collaborative delivery methods, and strong leadership and communication skills.
