Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to serve as Engineer of Record on critical projects in the United States. You will lead and mentor a small team, manage scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality, and provide regular updates to leadership.

Collaboration with clients, utilities, contractors, and regulators is essential to success. Responsibilities include developing reports, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications, plus site visits and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electrical consulting or related engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; ability to obtain additional state PE licenses.
• Experience leading projects and managing technical teams.
• Strong client-facing consulting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with NEC, IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, Building Codes, IES, IECC, and ASHRAE standards.
• Experience with AGi32, SKM Power Tools, or equivalent software preferred.
• Medium Voltage experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications: ENV SP, PMP, LEED AP, DBIA, CESCP, CEM.
