Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Electrical Engineer to design and implement utility-grade, industrial and commercial electrical power systems. You will lead the design and development of switchgear packages, review projects, and release BOMs for purchasing and fabrication.

This role emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to standards. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in medium voltage switchgear design, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and strong

Qualifications

• Eight plus years’ experience in medium voltage switchgear design.
• BS in Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Familiarity with ANSI, NEC and UL standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical and control schematics and switchgear

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of comprehensive electrical packages for switchgear projects (e.g., one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
• Release bill of material for purchasing and fabrication
• Provide support to product development for modeling and DFM
• Mentor others on the engineering team
• Interact with mechanical engineering, project management and customers as required
• Communicate job status and issues with supervisor
