Job summary

Albedo in Colorado is seeking a technical lead for power and analog electrical engineering on our avionics and spacecraft-power programs. You will own electrical architecture across EPS, bus regulation, battery management, isolated supplies, and analog signal chains, guiding design direction and reviews.

You’ll mentor engineers, stay hands-on when needed, and collaborate with FPGA, flight software, mechanical/thermal, and systems teams to push the boundaries of VLEO satellite electronics from

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of electrical-engineering experience.
  • BSEE required (MSEE preferred).
  • End-to-end hardware design across concept through production.
  • High-voltage DC power design, isolation, and safety.
  • Space radiation-tolerance mindset: derating and SEE aware.
  • Hands-on PCB design, layout, and test debugging.
  • Mentoring and cross-functional leadership in EE.

Responsibilities

  • Own electrical architecture across EPS, bus regulation, battery management, isolated supplies, and analog signal chains.
  • Set EE technical direction alongside engineering management.
  • Drive architecture reviews, design reviews, and mentoring.
  • Stay hands-on with hard, high-stakes design work as needed.
  • Collaborate with FPGA/avionics, flight software, mechanical/thermal, and systems teams.
  • Support proposals with EE/power concepts and rough BOMs.
