Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, procure, and manage EGSE test equipment for spacecraft hardware. Onsite role with a Secret clearance requirement; travel may be required to support launch campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field; 2+ years for Level 2, or 5+ years for Level 3 (see posting)
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
• Willingness to travel Domestic or international to support launch campaigns
• Ability to learn and integrate new programming languages or software tools

Responsibilities

• Procuring and managing EGSE, test racks, test equipment, test aids, harnesses, and pieces parts
• Planning short and long term integration and test activities requiring test equipment
• Understanding electrical circuits, hardware, and software in test scenarios
• Supporting EGSE or electronics assembly, integration, checkouts and troubleshooting
• Providing solutions to a variety of technical problems with increasing scope
