Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own end-to-end electrical design and integration across motor systems, instrumentation, and controls. You will act as technical lead, coordinate with operations, manufacturing, and suppliers, and mentor a team to ensure design release and robust fault analysis.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset in high-energy environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage systems and instrumentation/controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, and implementation of electrical engineering solutions spanning motor systems, instrumentation, and controls.
• Lead electrical scope on a small team and coordinate with operations, manufacturing, test, and suppliers.
• Lead anomaly and root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
