Job summary
Blue Origin Engineers seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver end-to-end electrical solutions across motor systems, instrumentation, and controls, owning architecture and requirements across interconnected systems. You will serve as a prime technical contact, mentor teammates, and drive design release with cross-functional partners in operations, manufacturing, safety, and quality.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Ownership of electrical design through full lifecycle with minimal oversight.
- Experience with low-/medium-voltage systems and protective analyses.
- Experience mentoring engineers and working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own design, analysis, and implementation of electrical solutions across motor systems, instrumentation, and controls.
- Act as technical lead for electrical scope on a small team and coordinate with multiple organizations.
- Mentor engineers and technicians, review work, and drive corrective actions.
- Lead anomaly and root-cause investigations and develop recovery plans.
- Ensure safety and compliance with codes (NEC, NFPA 70E) and LOTO practices.
