Job summary

ANS is seeking a senior engineer to lead PV design across electrical, civil, and structural disciplines. You will create PV layouts, block diagrams, and MV routing while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure code-compliant, detailed construction plans.

With 8+ years of experience, you will mentor junior staff, uphold design standards, and leverage PV case, PV Farm, SAM, PVsyst, and AutoCAD to deliver robust solar projects.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering/Construction related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering design and project leadership.
• Ability to lead design projects, mentor junior staff, and maintain design standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects and mentor junior staff while maintaining design standards.
• Design, optimize, and create detailed PV system plans using PV case, PV Farm, SAM, and PVsyst.
• Create PV layouts and support electrical design of projects with other disciplines.
• Perform electrical blocking and MV routing for PV designs.
• Assist with generation of single-line diagrams.
• Evaluate design alternatives to resolve constructability, code, and site challenges.
• Use AutoCAD to produce engineered construction plans, sheet setups, and details.
