Job summary

CPL is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and deliver solar PV and electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and utility-scale projects. You will develop Revit/AutoCAD models, perform system calculations, and coordinate across disciplines to ensure project success from feasibility through construction documentation.

The role requires an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and 6+ years in electrical/building systems design or solar PV design, with strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) and minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, building systems design, or solar PV design.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design principles, including power distribution, solar PV systems, and applicable codes and standards.
• Proven ability to lead technical coordination, solve complex design challenges, and deliver high-quality renewable energy projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate commercial, institutional, and utility-scale solar PV and electrical systems, from feasibility through construction documentation.
• Develop and manage Revit and AutoCAD models, electrical layouts, system calculations, and interdisciplinary coordination to support successful project delivery.
• Partner with clients, utilities, contractors, and internal teams to navigate permitting, interconnection requirements, and construction support.
