Job summary

Pantheon Data is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC, hybrid work. You will design, review, and support machinery control and monitoring systems for government or large commercial vessels, overseeing electrical wiring and schematics with an emphasis on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of experience with Government or large commercial vessel design and repair focusing on MCMS.
• Experience reviewing drawings, schematics, and electrical distribution analyses.
• Ability to work effectively in remote cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering design research and advise on technical issues or deficiencies.
• Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and other technical submittals for specification adherence.
• Conduct schematic reviews and electrical system analysis including load distribution and LVR/LVP requirements.
• Review electrical distribution drawings, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control schematics for NSC compliance.
• Review and/or create engineering charges for ship power generating and electrical distribution systems.
• Analyze non-electrical engineering changes for impacts on electrical power distribution and interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineering support team to maintain deliverable quality.
