Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks an Electrical Engineer (Level 6) to lead RF and analog subsystem design within the Radar IPT. You will guide a matrixed team through proposals, development, and integration—from PDR to CDR—while coordinating with program management and subcontractors.

The role requires a Secret clearance, strong RF/EE background, and experience with MBSE, subcontractor management, and Agile processes. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and designing complex RF and analog hardware systems.
• Experience with proposals and BOEs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Program Management on proposal strategies and estimation methodology to include major subcontracts.
• Developing subcontractor RFPs and evaluating subcontractor responses.
• Developing labor BOEs.
• Overseeing subcontractor SOWs and procurement specifications.
• Establishing road maps and execution timelines.
• Leading a multi‑discipline engineer team through major subsystem design, development and integration.
• Overseeing PDR and CDR milestones.
• Overseeing hardware architecture development.
• Overseeing component specifications and procurement requirements.
• Managing and maintaining the engineering technical baseline.
• Managing SS leads for major subcontractors.
• Managing KPIs across SSs.
• Overseeing RF Lab test and integration activities.
• Briefing leadership on Radar IPT elements.
