Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Radar IPT in Colorado Springs, focusing on RF hardware architecture, component specs, and subcontractor coordination. You will work through SRR, PDR, and CDR milestones, with hands-on RF lab activity and BOM documentation.

A Secret clearance is required to start, with travel up to 10% domestically. The role supports design trades, integration planning, and collaboration with engineering leadership.

Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience or Master’s with 3+ years or PhD with 1+ year.
  • Experience with LNA’s and RF signal chain analysis; RF lab environment and measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively define and document Radar IPT hardware architecture.
  • Develop component specifications and procurement requirements.
  • Lead or support technical management of major subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage Statements of Work for subcontractors.
  • Work in an RF lab to characterize and measure equipment; document BOMs.
