Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering & Construction team for remote work in the USA.

You will lead electrical design activities for renewable power plants, perform due diligence and feasibility studies, and support commissioning and start-up across wind, solar, geothermal, hydro and storage projects. The role requires 5+ years of HV power experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and power-system software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Power System Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in power systems operating in High Voltage.
• PE certification preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and power system software.
• Fluent English; Spanish or Italian preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Execute due diligences, feasibility studies, design for permitting, basic design and detailed design for renewable power plants (wind, solar, geo, hydro and storage).
• Review design documents for validation across disciplines.
• Support other units to ensure quality of construction and commissioning.
