Kiewit is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Power Engineering district in the Phoenix area. You will perform complex electrical analyses, lead design efforts, review vendor documents, and mentor junior engineers to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Experience includes NEC/NFPA/API guidelines, ETAP studies, and power system analysis. The role requires broad leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple assignments across projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Self-directed with limited supervision.
• Leads small teams to complete tasks or designs.
• Knowledge of industry codes: NEC, NFPA, API.
• Experience with ETAP Electrical Power System Analysis software.

Responsabilidades

• Performs complex calculations and applies standards without supervision.
• Reviews engineers' and designers' work for accuracy and compliance.
• Leads mid to large-size projects or proposals.
• Develops design changes to stay within budget and schedule.
• Mentors less experienced engineers and serves as a technical resource.
• Ensures safety, quality, and constructability in designs.
