Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. is seeking an electrical power systems engineer to design, analyze, and implement power systems for industrial, renewable, and utility projects.

You will support protection and control or physical substation design, preparing diagrams and wiring schemes as needed. Responsibilities include collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to project planning, and participating in FAT/SAT and commissioning when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology with relevant experience may be considered.
• 0 to 4 years of experience in electrical power systems engineering.
• Entry-level internship or co-op experience in engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems.
• Support power distribution, protection and control for industrial, renewable, data center, and utility projects.
• Support studies, calculations, and modeling to improve system performance.
• In protection and control, develop and revise diagrams and relay schematics.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning to validate system performance when required.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to support project objectives.
