Job summary

MPI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Massachusetts to design and support electrical hardware for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes power distribution, PCB design, and system-level engineering from concept through commercialization.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of electrical hardware design experience, a BS in EE, and proficiency with Altium, PADS, or PSpice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of electrical hardware design experience.
Experience with power distribution, PCB design, systems engineering, RF power, or high voltage systems.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience leading or participating in technical design reviews.
Experience with engineering change processes.
Proficiency with tools such as Altium, PADS, or PSpice.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing electrical and electronic hardware systems.
Supporting power distribution, high voltage, control, and vacuum system development.
Conducting concept reviews, design reviews, verification, and validation activities.
Collaborating with mechanical, process, and offshore engineering teams.
Analyzing system performance and evaluating test results.
Ensuring compliance with industry, safety, and customer requirements.
