Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• 5 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience.
• Associate Degree in Electrical Technology.
• 9 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience.
• Travel: 5-10%.
• Work hours typically 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; may vary to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed calculations to establish construction standards and specifications.
• Prepares technical drawings and electrical specifications to meet standards and customer needs.
• Plans layout of electrical construction projects.
• Conducts field surveys and analyzes data to identify power system problems.
• Discusses projects with internal and external customers.
• Ensures activities comply with codes and customer requirements.
• Inspects installations for conformance to design and equipment specs.
• Compiles data and writes reports on existing and potential studies.
• Operates engineering and design software to perform tasks.
• Provides guidance to engineers and designers on projects.
