Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead design teams through schematic design and contract document phases for power generation and renewable projects. The role includes mentoring engineers, coordinating workloads, and serving as the primary client contact on electrical scopes.

Ideal candidates will have a PE or equivalent license, 6+ years in power market projects, and proficiency with PVsys, PVcase, ETAP or similar software. Local travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• PE or professional engineering license preferred
• 6+ years of related Power Market experience
• Experience with large power generation design and renewable projects
• Proficiency with design software such as PVsys, PVcase, ETAP, SKM, or CDEGS

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams through schematic design and contract document phases
• Coordinate workloads to meet project schedules
• Serve as primary client contact for electrical scope projects
• Prepare detailed design packages for generation and storage facilities
• Develop I/O lists and plant control system interfaces
• Review outputs per HDR Quality Process
• Travel as required for project involvement
