Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to collaborate with global teams on embedded electronics across product categories. You will design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot hardware and firmware, using lab equipment and simulations.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, mentorship, and timely project delivery. The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years in a design role, with knowledge of embedded systems and power electronics.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in a design-related role.
• Understanding of embedded systems, PCBA manufacturing and power electronics.
• Knowledge of analog/digital tradeoffs, signal integrity and noise analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics (hardware and firmware).
• Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and data acquisition systems.
• Create test plans for components and assemblies within project scope.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manage documentation for meetings and presentations.
• Mass production considerations and regulatory standards knowledge.
