BW Papersystems in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will perform electrical design, technical analysis and problem solving with manufacturing feasibility, cost and operation in mind.

Responsibilities include design/alteration of complex electrical equipment, testing and debugging, creating schematics and BOMs, and supporting manufacturing and field teams on site. This is a regular, full-time, on-site position in Madison.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering typical.
• Strong power electronics foundation required; circuit theory and analysis skills.

Aufgaben

• Design/alteration of highly complex electrical equipment.
• Test and debug to isolate defects.
• Prepare layouts using CAD tools and create schematics/BOMs.
• Evaluate new parts and engineering changes; support manufacturing/assembly teams.
• Travel to customer sites to provide expertise and field support.
• Lead or mentor junior team members; may supervise a team.
