Job summary

BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Group, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and troubleshoot highly complex equipment for manufacturing and field projects. You will develop layouts, schematics, and BOMs while supporting manufacturing and customer sites.

The role requires deep power electronics expertise, CAD skills, and the ability to read complex schematics; domestic travel is expected to support projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and extensive electrical design experience.
• Strong power electronics knowledge with circuit theory and design skills.
• Experience with CAD tools, PCB layouts, schematics, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design/alteration of highly complex electrical equipment.
• Test and debug highly complex equipment to isolate defects.
• Prepare layouts using CAD tools.
• Evaluation of highly complex designs and engineering changes.
• Evaluate new parts; prepare schematics and BOMs.
• Provide expertise and support manufacturing/assembly teams.
• Travel to customer sites to provide expertise and support field teams.
• Lead and mentor team members; may act as supervisor.
