Job summary

PENTA ENGINEERING CORPORATION is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in industrial power, controls, and automation. The role focuses on design, coordination with clients and staff, and leading project teams across the USA. Travel to client sites and overseas is required.

The ideal candidate will have NEC/IEEE expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor staff while delivering accurate, high-quality engineering work.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering preferred or B.S. with relevant applicable experience will be considered.
• PE registration required. Must be able to obtain registrations across USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design for power distribution, controls, and automation systems in heavy process industries.
• Coordinate work with staff, clients, and contractors to ensure project goals and schedules are met.
• Mentor, coach, and train junior engineers; perform staff evaluations and provide recommendations semi-yearly.
• Prepare equipment specifications, cable lists, I/O lists, and one-line diagrams.
• Develop electrical design criteria for projects and participate in kickoff meetings and CAPEX planning.
• Travel to construction sites to assist with systems commissioning and site acceptance testing.
