Job summary
PENTA Engineering Corp seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Johns Creek, GA, to lead industrial power, controls and automation projects. A minimum of 10+ years in progressively responsible roles and PE registration is required.
You will design and support power distribution, grounding, protection systems, and control panels, coordinating with staff, clients and contractors. Occasional travel within the US and abroad is expected.
Qualifications
- MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensed or able to obtain across USA.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee electrical power distribution, grounding, and control systems for heavy process industries.
- Lead protection and control schemes, including protection relays and MCCs.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and IEEE standards; supervise staff and mentor engineers.
- Coordinate with clients, staff and contractors; manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Travel within the US and overseas to sites and facilities as required.
