Job summary

BKV Group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with a PE license and at least 10 years of focused electrical building systems design experience to lead local projects in Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX. You will guide electrical design across multi-family, commercial, and civic developments and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.

In this senior role, you will mentor junior staff, drive technical discussions with clients, and ensure QA/QC across electrical deliverables while advancing firm-wide

Qualifications

• PE license is required and active.
• Minimum 10 years of focused electrical design experience in building systems.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit for electrical design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and documentation across projects including multi-family, commercial, and civic/government developments.
• Coordinate with architecture, structure, mechanical, interior design, and PM teams.
• Mentor engineers, designers, and junior staff; lead QA/QC reviews.
