Job summary

Continental Electrical Construction Company in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE to lead complex electrical design projects for mission critical, commercial and institutional facilities. You will guide design development from concept through construction support and supervise a team of engineers.

This full-time, hybrid role requires strong knowledge of NEC, Revit/AutoCAD, power systems, and fire alarm/life-safety design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design across multiple project phases with emphasis on quality and code compliance.
• Mentor and develop a 3–5 person engineering team; delegate tasks and track progress.
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, designers, and contractors to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies; review calculations and design deliverables.
