Job summary

Entech Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a PE license to join our team.

You will lead the electrical design of complex projects involving power distribution, standby generation, renewable energy, and utility infrastructure, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions. The role offers opportunities to mentor junior staff, contribute to project planning through construction, and work on campus distributions, microgrids, and energy projects

Qualifications

Lead the electrical design of multidisciplinary projects.
Strong understanding of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Lead design of medium- and low-voltage electrical power distribution systems.
Perform engineering calculations to size electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, generators, cables).
Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash).
Design standby and emergency power systems using generators and transfer switches.
Prepare one-line diagrams, power plans, grounding plans, and construction details.
Develop project-specific CSI MasterFormat specs and templates.
Coordinate service requirements with utilities and assist clients on upgrades.
Serve as electrical discipline lead on multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality.
