Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I (PE Level) to join our MEP team across multiple offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, or Indiana. The role focuses on leading electrical design for diverse building types and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical system design.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing where based or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical systems from concept through construction documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, and contractors for integrated delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and designers in the MEP department.
• Review and apply local, state, and federal codes and standards for electrical design.
• Participate in design reviews and offer construction-phase support as needed.
