Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (PE) to provide expert-level leadership on complex commercial projects. The role focuses on design, analysis, and construction phases, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical standards, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants. Stratus values flexible, hybrid work and professional growth across a multidisciplinary design firm.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE is required.
• ABET-accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering design and project management.
• Prior experience with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical development of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Oversee integration of building systems (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, environmental).
• Provide technical oversight during construction, review submittals and conduct site visits.
