Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) in Houston, TX to act as technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. Relocation assistance is provided to bring top talent to the area.

The role requires 10–15 years of experience, active P.E. licensure, and a proven track record leading large projects with cross-disciplinary teams. Hybrid work options are available and relocation support includes a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 10–15 years of design and project management experience in MEP and fire protection for commercial sectors.
• Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, calculations, drawings, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
• Oversee electrical system integration with civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
• Perform QC reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct site visits and submittal reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
