RTX is seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer for the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department in Andover, MA. The role supports production maintenance on the factory floor to ensure proper station uptime.

As an onsite role, candidates will troubleshoot RF/Digital test platforms, coach technicians, interpret schematics, and implement improvements to boost throughput. Eligibility for U.S. government clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshoot experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Strong familiarity with electronics across RF, Digital and AC/DC Power platforms and related interfacing.
• Experience developing, editing, and improving preventative maintenance and calibration procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining test platforms on the manufacturing floor.
• Troubleshoot complex test station and fixture failures on RF/Digital test platforms using best practices and procedures.
• Coach and influence technicians regarding troubleshooting best practices and techniques.
• Interpret schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting of test stations and equipment.
• Design moderate improvements of systems and test equipment to enhance performance and uptime.
• Document failure analysis and resolution steps to maintain a troubleshooting guide for future use.
