Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years progressive MV/LV design leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in power system analysis software (SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to lead substation design from concept through detailed engineering.
• Deep knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, CSA, and IEC electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead MV/LV electrical design for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, motor starting, and harmonic analysis.
• Develop single line diagrams for MV and LV distribution systems and prepare layout drawings.
• Specify MV switchgear, LV switchboards, MCCs, transformers, and related equipment; ensure NEC/IEC compliance.
• Prepare protection relay settings studies and time-current coordination plots.
• Lead vendor pre-qualification, technical bid evaluation, and factory audits for safety-related equipment.
