Job summary

OGE Energy Corp. in Oklahoma City seeks a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to support new generation projects.

You will act as staff technical leader, interface with Owner's Engineers, guide project managers, and ensure design intent and safety compliance across systems. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with PE for Lead or equivalent experience for Senior, and may involve field inspections and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or PE required.
Senior level requires 5 years engineering experience with 3 years as an Engineer and 2 years related experience (half-rate allowance).
Lead level requires PE designation and 6 years related engineering experience (4 years as an Engineer).

Responsibilities

Lead interface with Owner's Engineers reviewing project documentation and integration.
Guide project managers on complex topics and distill impacts for understanding.
Ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, operability, maintainability, and safety.
Assist Contractors and Construction Coordinators with retrieving plant documentation for design and installation.
Coordinate engineering inspections of new equipment and contractor-installed systems.
