Job summary

IMEG Corp in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts on mission critical and data center projects. This full-time hybrid role involves engineering analysis, client mentorship, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-performance electrical systems.

You will contribute to site assessments, detailed reports, and project leadership while advancing IMEG standards and client relationships.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license required.
• 7–8 years in building design consulting with mission critical/data center experience.
• Expertise in power systems, grounding, generators, UPS, ATS/STS, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Be a critical team member on advanced mission critical and data center projects.
• Lead design efforts for electrical systems on moderate to complex projects, creating designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software and tools in accordance with code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Perform site assessments and prepare detailed analysis and technical reports.
• Work with clients to understand needs, gather project requirements, communicate technical information effectively, and build client relationships through professional communication.
• Review electrical system designs, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence during design development.
• Implement IMEG quality control processes to help ensure designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff.
• Provide technical assistance in resolving field issues with limited support from senior staff.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, and contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and help identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
• Participate in project interviews and project presentations.
